A Different Way to Travel

In our fractured world, there is urgency for deeper connections and realities beyond the familiar. Travel isn’t just about seeking novel experiences, but discovering how we’re woven into the invisible threads that shape every place we encounter. There has never been a better time to discover, as Aldous Huxley put it, that everyone’s wrong about other countries.

Our Story, Your Journey.

For over 15 years, we’ve guided senior leaders, businesses and academics in connecting with cultures and people around the world to better understand how lived realities shape societies.

We do this because we believe in the power of discomfort in reshaping how we view the world and ourselves. In today’s uncertain times, we strive for this work to bring more empathy, resilience and hope.

Our trips aren’t for everyone. We don’t run tours to tick off bucket lists or follow rigid A-to-Z schedules. Instead, we host you as participants of a shared journey where we take less travelled roads, observe the mundane, connect with parallel lives.

We draw from artist Trinh T. Minh-Ha's concept of anti-ethnography,  the powerful act of walking amongst people and nature.
